Colin - How's the quality of the Creation kit? They aren't cheap, but if they are good, is the fitting better than Prime?

RE: The Official Sig Thread
I think the quality of the kit is pretty good. I've run across the occasional CNC error on some kits and parts in my experience, but fitting has always been decent. I don't have any experience with Prime unfortunately, so I can't really compare. I only have 2 complaints about the Creation lower frame; one, the black is a wee bit shiny for my tastes, and it lacks trades on the breach side. I have another P226 with a Guarder lower, albeit railed, and even though it's a cast piece, I do like Guarder's finish better. Much more realistic. Plus, it's got all the proper trades and whatnot. If Guarder ever went CNC on their parts to clean up the pitting, and then did their finish work, I'd be all over their stuff.

RE: The Official Sig Thread
Looked like the SIG thread needed a boost so here goes...

I was going through my pictures today and found some originals of my P226. This was the first good airsoft gun I ever had so it holds a bit of a special place in my collection. I still need to finish building it up (needs more metal) but maybe it will become an X-Five when PGC releases the new kits.

* Proud 150% Hammer Spring
* Custom Fitted RS Mainspring Seat
* Custom Fitted RS Hogue Grips
* Custom Fitted Stainless Grip Screws
* Polished Take Down Lever, Decocker, Trigger, Slide Lock & Mag Catch
* Black Krylon Paint On Slide

Guarder or paint? Looks good, you don't see too many colored P226s.

RE: The Official Sig Thread
It's a Guarder kit, but since I am repulsed by the finish of their outer barrels, I used a recovered Prime 226 outer barrel.
