Being such a fan of 'The Black Rifle', as it's often referred to, I wanted to take this opportunity to kick things off here with an official thread dedicated to the Armalite, or AR-style rifle! Your photos don't strictly have to be Armalite-branded guns, so show us what you've got.
Here's a little something to start things off. This is one of my custom projects, which involved the MadBull Talon frontend kit. While I was really happy with the results, I found it a tad short for me. Subsequently, it was sold off, and then part of it were re-acquired in a later trade! Look for more pictures of the rebirth of this gun in the coming months. ![]()

RE: The Official Armalite Thread V1 (all styles welcome!)
Well here is mine, Pretty much got the Talon idea from my buddy who is from my local airsofting group. Then talked to colin and seen his gun, Loved the stock so I took that idea. This gun has SO much money into it all together with changing builds I almost almost if not hitting $1,000. But other then that its pretty awsome.
I need a front sight, Then it will be complete. Maybe a body in the future. Kitlist: CA M4 RIS from allizard Madbull Talon from allizard Madbull RASFIX from allizard Real Steel Foregrip from allizard 416 Shorty stock from allizard G27 Grip bought used from someone i forget. Upgraded motor not sure of the name, CA stock motor you get when you purchase a CA. Rear LMT style sight from FO1 on my local airsoft group. Gaurder SP120 from e-hobby asia Silicone hop up from kurt my local airsoft group friend. 9.6v 2200mah nun-chuck style battery from kurt 12x Mag Midcaps Thats pretty much it. Sorry for the size, I am only posting one picture for now.

Funny how all three of us are running (or ran) the shorty HK stock. Had to add mine to the pile. VFC HK416 from HK with full trades. All internal work done by Paul (ex AEX Oakland Tech) at Pinnacle Airsoft. Shoots hard and clean, with actually some kick. I have gotten rid of the rail covers and the aimpoint, so I have a few more ideas for the final look.

RE: The Official Armalite Thread V1 (all styles welcome!)
I actually have 4 different guns, all running the 'stubby' stock! LOL
My love for them was bred as a result of hating to use a battery sling, or box, when using a railed frontend, or a frontend that didn't allow for battery storage. I really didn't like the looks of any collapsible stock with a mondo pouch on it, and since I generally use them in the lower positions, this stock was a no-brainer. I was initially put off, because I couldn't find a 'real steel' stock that this could have been based on, but I obviously didn't look too hard on Bushmaster's site, because lo and behold, there they were. I'm officially at 7 AR rifles now, with one being reassembled, which will bring me to 8. Yes, I'm an addict, but I'm not looking for an intervention! Once I get a chance to do some decent photo shoots of the rest, you can be assured they will appear here. |

Just a simple project I've been working on.

RE: The Official Armalite Thread V1 (all styles welcome!)
Nice Allen, I like your taste for the long M16s. Here's a pic of a monster started by Allen and finished by myself...I regret selling this beast.
![]() My old Magpul'd out M933 which Colin stole from me in one of our many "trades" ![]() My last AEG which I recently sold, also a gun I aquired from our own forum "arms dealer" Mr Allen the lizard ![]() I've now moved on from ArmyLights and left that to the ArmyLight Wh0r3 himself, Colin. I've reverted back to my old GBB loving self. Diligentia, Vis, Celeritas
