Nice work crowning the barrel, Jerry.
All my work is almost always internal. Here's the most extroverted thing I've ever built. I built up the platform internally, then prepped it for engraving, then finally electroplated it with 24K gold.

holy shit dude...
what all did you get engraved on there ?
how much did the engraving cost? how much for the electroplating?
all you need is some beretta grips on there... maybe some hougues or those black pearlite grips... would look amazing.

I did all the building and prep, as well as the final electroplating bath. The engraving took a week if I remember correctly. It was performed by a master engraver with over 40 years experience who used to do all the specialized engraving for former Philippine first lady, Imelda Marcos. He did it as a personal favor to me because he is a close friend of my father-in-law. It will not be repeated.
This was a consignment piece with my name on the right side of the frame as a signature and the owner's grandfather's info on the left in memoriam. It was engraved in the American style after I provided him with sample photos from a 1911 featured in Handgunner that year.

you slide work is a standard of all GBB custom work should be done, simply amazing, I can't do that with my shaky hands, guessing I am getting old *o*
Twin cam, I love your wilson combat with the hybrid slide, real nice gun!
