thanks
And once you have the link for the image, to post it you have to use HTML. So to post an image, type:

imageshack.us works as well, if you don't feel like doing the whole account thing.
Photobucket for permanent storage
imageshack for quick image posting
Aside from using a photo sharing account, like
Photobucket, and
ImageShack, I've also allowed members to use the attachment feature of the boards here. When you're making a posting, there's a spot near the bottom of the posting screen, that is labeled 'Attachments'. You can simply attach your images this way as well. Be forewarned though; there's a limit on size, and number, so ensure that your images are properly sized. I'll also suggest keeping images posted to a maximum of 800 pixels wide, just to those that are high-resolution monitor challenged can still read the site without having to side-scroll.
As Render stated above, there are 'tags' you can use, if you use shared hosting for your photos in order to place them in your ad, but don't forget that the post editor also has a handy-dandy little 'Insert Image' button you can press to simplify this process. You don't necessarily have to know the specific tags to get images inserted. Be sure to read the
help section on using the forum mycode, to get more familiar with some of the forum 'tags' you can use in your postings.
I hope this helps you out!
that clears it up thanks for all of your help
sorry to thread jack but i have a sort of relevant question. i have a photobucket account and was wondering how you can edit the pictures (i.e. cross off what has sold) without uploading a new pic and therefore changing the url?
I know Fotki doesn't have edit function. So if Photobucket don't have edit function then you can't do it. You'll have to edit on your computer then upload it again. edit the post to the new photo location. Quite a hassle.

Yeah. Flickr can enable you to change it in a way.
