Not sure whether this should be in the GBB section as the gun I am working on is a GBB, but whatever, m60s are certainly more common in AEG form and I might need to scavenge through Top parts to complete it.

I am considering trying to use a RS handguard and heatshield from a VN(e1) version M60 on my Inokatsu E3 version to create a shorty VN. From the looks of it, there shouldn't be a problem where it meets the receiver, but what mounting is used/needed where it connects to the barrel/gas tube? Did Inokatsu ever make a add-on kit? Obviously the bipod has to be relocated or swapped, do RS versions fit the Ino?

Any help would be appreciated before I buy the VN pieces.

For reference, it does. Removal of the existing carrying handle and bipod is needed and a longer screw in which to firmly attach the VN type has to be sourced. A notch aslo must be cut in the rear of the lower guard. Hot damn I got lucky.
