Where is the love for the SIG rifles....550-556 and anything in between?

Get it started, here is my TM SIG 552

I'm thinking my next weapon might have a Sig556 kit...
I just checked one of those out yesterday at Pinnacle (they fit it for a customer). It is nice and heavy, solid with no wobbles. For some reason the handguards didn't fit together all the way, but that was the only flaw.
My only complaint is that it's not a military weapon, per se. It hasn't really been adopted by anyone as far as I know.
I'd think its less of an issue now with PMC flourishing in real world, independent operator can pretty much kit whatever they want....

I have been wanting to build either the 556 or a 552 with the hurricane body and the UFC but I always wonder how the battery access was with the UFC rail? Can you use the same size battery as with the stock handguard?
i guess i can use the battery box

Is there any room for a battery in the rail or is you cannot open it up very easily to get a battery in and out?
