Also like tuner cars, sometimes they even shoot better, but it is all down to the builder and parts you use...no cheap crap.

true that....I can definitely feel the difference after trying the postal back to back with my stock 1911 and my Hi-Capa....I guess all that work did count for something....

Look at what you've started wwjkc. Now we have 4 pages of talk about race guns and only a couple pics I know, I'm mostly to blame. Maybe we can get this all moved to the builders thread.

I know it's not tricked out, but I've shot standard division with it.

I swapped out the optic on my race gun:



I was going to shoot the postal that way, but the rear sight blew off the slide. I guess even short stroked with a light weight BBU there is a bit too much recoil in it. Now I have to buy a new Hi Capa for the slide, since the rear sight blew out the right dovetail on the way up and out.

Also the Airsoft Surgeon hammer set is amazing, the trigger pull is not as light as Rom's gun, but his is very literally a feather pull.

There are a couple people that are selling stock TM slides (I imagine if you asked nice enough, some of the guys would be willing to just send you their old one. I would, but I doubt you'd want mine)....if you don't want to buy a whole new one. Of course, you probably just want an exscuse for a new project!

I'm sure that thing slams back to battery fast - plastic slide and lightweight bbu.
