V10:

It did cost around $600, depends on your view, but it's well worth the wait and price, if I wanted the CNC lower frame then it's gonna add $400 more, my customer knows CLarence very well and basically, I talked to him on the phone, told him what I want and he keep me updated over e-mail

4thpower, specs below:
Old School magna blow-back made by Clarence Lai with the following goods

Custom made slide (perfect match with frame)
Custom machined frame (perfect match with slide with custom serial #)
CL custom bearing hammer (SV logo) with struct and pins
CL custom stainless trigger bar
CL custom ultra long firing pin (must cock hammer first)
CL custom blow-back unit with SD PKM kit installed
CL custom disconnector
Cl custom leaf spring
Cl custom sear (for 1/2 pound trigger pull)
CL custom part#8 (inner barrel lock, made by SD)
CL custom 1 piece stainless guide rod with stainless guide plug
CL custom front fiber sight (made by prime)
SD Infinity stainless chamer
KM 6.04 inner barrel
Guarder Stainless barrel

Grip safety disabled, slide lock disabled
Man $600 isn't much at all. Actually that is about half what I would have thought it would cost. My SD slided WAs tend to run around that price.

So the frame is a CL fit, but WA frame? Not a CL frame?
yes, it's a WA frame re-machined to fit the slide, a cl frame cost even more

aluminum ($400)
stainless ($600-$800)

all depends on your taste, $600 shipped from Hong Kong from Clarence is not much at all, that's why I jumped at the chance to own 1
Thanks for the info Jerry, makes me want to get my frame engraved with proper SVI trademarks on the bottom.
well, more of Clarence's work can be find here, all old magna, you guys can use it for ref:

DAMN!!!! Dem junx is hawt!

That's a lot cheaper than I would've thought. I've been considering a full custom Raymond Ho (just gotta find that money tree I've heard so much about). He wants around $3,000.00 for a full custom built race gun.

Does CL still do these custom builds?
CL still do custom guns

You have to know, Raymond is a middle man, it's Clarence that's doing all the work

If you guys need something from clarence, you can contact him via e-mail: clarencelai2@i-cable.com
I thought Clarence was a middle man too. I thought Prime or PCG (there can only be like one or two companies) are the main manufactures for all these parts. There can't be that many shops that have CNC machines set up to do all these crazy cuts that are needed to make slides, frames, and bits. I want to find out who is really doing the CNCing and set up with them. That way we could get stuff built for here. My friend engineers custom parts for cars and outsources a company in Taiwan to make his stuff for him. He just gives them the specs in CAD/CAM.
I wish I could build guns like that for a living.

I just might have to contact CL to see what he can do.

Yeah I was surprised when you told me this too.

I hereby remove all "s#$% talking I have done about Clarence not doing custom guns any longer" but I will still berate all those kids who bring him up as a reason not to pay me.
There are quite a few of us "tuners" that can "build" these guns. CL probably contracts out designs for parts and puts them together. I am willing to bet he doesn't have a CNC machine and capable of machining these parts himself. Sure he does fitting and stuff, but we do that too. Its just a matter of getting a hold of the people that can actually manufacture these bits. If CL machines these parts himself, then I'd be very impressed.

I would still really like to get one any which way.
