I recently picked up a 5ku frame which is an exact copy of the as and prog4 frame. They all use a drop in hammer block that holds all the working bits. However, that block is made out of aluminum and the hammer is made out of steel. The hammer slams on the edge of the block every time the trigger is pulled. I can already see the edge beginning to warp and deteriorate. The only person i know of that makes a steel one is Illusion Kinetics from airsoftcanada and he is not willing to sell me one by itself. Anyone have any suggestions? I am thinking about putting some sort of buffer on the edge.
You get what you paid for....
Honestly, 5ku has exceeded my expectations. Now i'm just addressing the only flaw which is the aluminum block.
Illusion Kinetics = Prog4

same shit, different country

you get what you paid for, should have save up and get the REAL shit
i can live with this shit, but if by real shit you mean RS, then hell yea i do have some funds set aside for those.
You can try just send an e-mail to Capt KK directly at ProG4, see if he'll sell you one....
yea i did, he said maybe it will be a future project but now now...The prog4 frames come with a steel block right?
If you never bought anything from captain KK, I don't think he will sell u just the Steel block.

Shim the screw that holds the bbu in. That way the hammer hits the screw instead of the lower frame.
