Not the best deal that i have tryed to do, talked to him about a deal about his m4 that he had for sale told, him it will take about a week to round up the money he said that is fine so turns out he starts trying to sell it again, he said by saturday Today (02-16-08) i had it all set up to do an invoice through paypal all he needed to do was send it i get a reply back that says he has already sold the gun to someone else. even though it is only saturday and we had a deal made out. but oh well through away another deal to get this gun and didnt get either arnt i lucky.
I think you are being a little unfair. As you knew, I was in a bit of a pinch for some quick cash. You repeatedly spammed my inbox, saying over and over again how much you wanted the gun, but how you couldn't pay me. I think I got over 30 PM's. I do apologize, but like I said, you have to realize, just because you talked to me first and told me how much you want to buy the gun, doesn't mean you take precedence over another customer (with cash in hand!). I understand you are upset, but please be rational.
Just to step in and make a comment here; money talks, bullshit walks. It's the oldest sales rule in the free marketplace. If you want an item, pay for it. It's pretty simple. If someone is trying to work out a deal on payment, the best policy is to put down a sizable downpayment on the item to hold it. I can certainly understand your frustration, grubber, but in the same context, it's also up to Cornwallis to decide how to best sell his item.
Again, the best advice I can give, is if you don't have all the cash together for an item you want, establish a deal with the seller that includes a decent sized downpayment to hold the item, and a reasonable window of time to finalize the transaction. You should also be willing to forfeit your downpayment, should you not meet the terms of your initial payment arrangement. After all, the seller wants to SELL his item, not hold something indefinitely.
Cheers.
You are absolutely right. I told him that I was looking to sell this item quick, and then he comes back saying he may need a week to get me the full payment. I was contacted by another buyer, and it was sold two days later.
YOU TOLD ME YOU WERE IN NO HURRY TO GET THE MONEY SO IT WOULD BE FINE IF I GAVE YOU THE MONEY IN A WEEK, IF YOU WOULD HAVE SAID SOMETHING I AM SURE I COULD HAVE HAD IT EARLIER, AND I DID I HAD IT ON SATURDAY THE DAY THAT YOU SAID WAS MY LAST DAY I COULD GET THE MONEY TO YOU, I HAD IT ALL READY TO GO ALL I NEEDED WAS YOU TO RESPOND BACK TO MY PM BUT I GET A MESSAGE SAYING IT IS SOLD, WOW THAT IS ALL I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THAT
grubber Wrote:well if the other person has the money all ready to go now go ahead and sell to them it will be a while i cant give you an exact date becouse i do not know how much they will scheadule me at work so but keep me informed
Haha, you are so contradictory ***
edited for derogatory comment ***.
Ok you two. This is obviously a case of he said/he said. Let's not take this to insults, as it's not going to solve anything. Grubber has stated he's not happy with his dealings with Cornwallis, and Cornwallis has rebutted. Let's leave it at that please.
