I think communication is rank very high on the list. Very often after I'd purchase something from others I don't hear any updates until days later and sometimes done until the items arrived.

Of course the worst thing can happen is the item I'd purchased never arrived at all.

So what do you guys think? Here is my list, and it's no brainer/common sense and the seller just have to follow thru.

1. Honorable
2. Good and frequent communication
3. Deliver what's promise (Product as described)
4. Take good clear pictures (one of my pet peeves)
5. Follow up if necessary
One thing that gets me, If i send money, I expect and item to ship the very next day if not the same day(If i sent money early enough). Now if the comunication is good enough and the seller lets me know exactly when it will ship, I may not be so upset.

I think sellers should not accept money unless they are ready to ship. Im currently in the middle of a deal that started on Oct 11th, He recieved my money Oct 23rd, I think thats ample time to get something in a box lol. It still hasnt been shipped. I do give him credit for responding to each of my emails, but if your not fully prepared to ship I dont think you should be accepting money.

So to sum up lol
1. Honorable
2. Good and frequent communication
3. Deliver what's promise (Product as described)
4. Take good clear pictures (one of my pet peeves)
5. Follow up if necessary
6. Do not accept money, unless your fully prepared to ship in a timely manner.
This is very true. My last purchase is a fine example. Paypal a guy for a MK23 on Wednesday and afterward there is no communication until Sunday evening. Then he said he shipped it on Saturday.
The best traders will stand behind what they sell and will fix or replace your broken stuff (for a certain amount of time) in addition to being Honorable, easy to communicate with, follow up if necessary, and fast shipping.
The most important aspect of any member that actively wants to trade is COMMUNICATION. Period. Regardless of delivery times, and disputes over condition of goods, etc., most problems could simply be avoided in the first place if both parties remained in constant communication. The one thing I constantly see people selling items, or offering up items for trade, is that they're SO quick to respond to inquiries regarding an initial sale, and up to the point of getting paid. Then, after that, you find yourself sending message after message to them, trying to find out when the goods you've paid for will be on their way to you. Personally, if it's going to take you 2 weeks to ship out an item, TELL ME right up front. Don't make me chase you around to find out what's really going on, because you don't want to tell the truth. I'm a much more patient person when the seller is honest and up front about their delivery times, so you're not just twiddling your thumbs, waiting for answers. HOWEVER, if you give someone a delivery timeframe, STICK TO IT. With an environment like we're going to have here, your word is your guarantee. If you can't stand behind it, there's going to be no place for you.

There are a lot of other issues I'm sure we all have concerning sales, and listings, but I think that communication is the #1 goal everyone should be working to be consistent with. Hopefully, as the site develops, we'll get more people offering suggestions as to what a good 'Trade Requirements' list will be, so that anyone wanting to engage in trade here, will understand that ALL traders must adhere to the same set of rules.
All of you prove a fine point, i agree with everybody here. All these tips will make me a better dealer/trader. I will put all of these into full consideration when dealing.
