I will be posting my gear creations when I get the chance and will post how to make them and what materials were used, which store to buy from and cost.
For some of you who are into MILSIM events and TAC-SIM events..recreational or "Real Deal" folks, you may like this thread! The following DIY (Do It Yourself) creations will be the first few that I have made and that actually work and are, for the most part, cheaper than buying current brand name/mainstream tactical products that you see on-line..etc:
* How to make your own working/usable (for RS or airsoft..etc) pistol tactical retention lanyard in khaki/tan or black
* How to make your own custom, forest environment (although it can be used for urban CQB, these are mainly used for light forest, jungle and forest environments in the real world) UDHP (Universal Drop Holster) pistol holster
* How to buy and cut up affordable camo netting and VERY MINIMAL netting placement to enhance your field concealment and place over your multicam, DCU or other tan based uniforms that have a small portion of green coloring already on them. This DIY project is focused for placing green/brown colored netting over TAN based uniforms and load-outs, not green or other based uniforms..etc.
NOTE REGARDING THE CAMO NETTING I USED OVER OUR CRYE MULTICAM LOAD-OUT'S:
On THREE separate occasions, when using this particular camo netting (which is cheap to obtain, BTW) at a single event, my son and I were standing on our feet in a crouched position (stalking position with limbs close to body and rifle at the ready) , with only very little tall California dry grass..etc....some of the opposing force walked right past us! We're talking within 15 - 20 feet!
* How to make your own battle belt suspenders (ones that will work under your plate carriers and that are flat "low-profile" type) without having to purchase the expensive Crye, ATS, Blue Force Gear..etc ones that seem to cost a fortune
