Love the loaded champion too, it is Prime Japan version right? Is it heavier than normal Prime kits, like my alu V12?

Yes, it's Prime Japan version. But I don't know it is heaverier than normal Prime kits or not, because this is the only one I have.

Springfield Armory V-16 Long slide loaded custom

I missed out on the 1st release of the V-16 kit, so was pleased to see a re-run. Primes 2nd incarnation of the SA V-16 kit is fairly tight, and it took some breaking in, but that assures a good fit once done.
Prime include a steel SA marked Bomar sight base (as well as a front sight) which is a nice touch.
The ported V-16 steel barrel is no longer included which is fine by me as I never use steel barrels or chambers in my own guns.

The kit arrived in an overall matt finish so I had to apply the brushed finish to the sides of the slide and frame myself.

The black offsets the SS look very well sir.

Im not a fan of long slides, like hardballer, but that v16 is cool.
