Yeah, they are staying. The SA grips are really wide, coupled with the curved back strap it's not so comfortable for me. They are now on my Operator and they fit perfectly and feel great. I might need to find some slimline wood grips if I keep this one.

Wow... that V10 is beautiful.

Anyway, I sold the WA M8045 Cougar F but I brought another one of my favorite gun.

KSC M945 Compact. It's technically not consider a 1911 but it sure looks like one to me. I had KWA M945c version but it's lacking the trade mark. I was browsing eBay and notice Ehobbyasia got one on auction and not a BUY IT NOW so I own the bid at 65+29shipped. Still less than the street price in Hong Kong. Awesome deal. Only took me an hour to get all the red out.

I wish I never sold my M945. It was definitely a fun little compact.

Allizard if you ever get the inside scoop on a Zeke kit for this gun let me know....
Allizard - Can the 945 take green with the abs slide? I keep thinking about building one, but the lack of a quality metal body always steers me away.

KWA M945c can take green as it's advertise that way. And the funny thing is when I took the slide lock off the frame it reveals a KSC logo behind. The KWA version is ABS slide. And I have been shooting freen for a while and it seems to be holding up as advertised. So I compare this KSC with the KWA version and guess what... besides the missing trade mark on the KWA version I see nothing different between the KSC and KWA at all.

but yeah...I have not seen a metal body kit for the M945c at all.
Just keep swapping grips. Can't leave well enough alone.

hey. .this is all a repeat from Arnies!

about the M945 and M945C:

HKSSR20DET, "lack of quality metal kit ..for M945"?

There are 3 kits I've seen. . the KWA or Taiwanese kits (just the slide/barrel), ZEKE CNC kit and Shooters Design CNC kit. . .the latter two are top quality kits.

Allizard. . ZEKE makes both silver & gold 945 Compact kit. .6061 T6 (Brass for the gold model) and all CNCed. . . these are selling for $500-650. .gold (all brass) obviously cost more than the silver finished ones. I've seen these kits and the quality is unmatched. I use to see these kits all the time on Yahoo Auctions Japan . .but several years ago. Now they rarely pop up. . that's not to say they're no longer available. .they are, just not a huge market for them for obvious reasons. . .price.

I've always wanted a metal slided or FM M945/C. . even with it's crappy peformance. .I'd like to see what type of power I could get out of it with some tuning. However, I do miss my KSC M945C. . .blowback was actually good for KSC's hardkick technology. . .detail was excellent and surpassed many WAs.
