Just wondering what you all thought of Guarder Metal Body Kits for Pistols. I have heard they are not the greatest but are very affordable compared to the Prime and PGC body kits. Is the quality worth the "inexpensive" price or are they just another body kit with decent quality and somewhat decent price? Any personal experience with this kit would help tremendously.

Is it worth buying one of these?
What are the pros and cons?

depends on the gun/manufacturer the Guarder kit is made for. .

for instance, Guarder made a CNC machined steel slide/barrel kit for the Marui Glock 26. . cost about $165 whereas most other kits are $100 or below. The absolute most realistic and top kit to get for the Marui G26. Beats out the aluminum CNCed PGC, Prime, Sheriff and SD versions any day of the week in my opinion.

The Guarder Marui P226 kit is inferior to the PGC and Prime versions. . but much better than the Creation (not much better).

Quality is subjective. . some say Guarder gbb kit quality is top knotch. . . .but they've also never experienced the Prime or PGC versions. Hell, some say the Creation kits are nice. . I personally wouldn't buy the Creation kits because they don't even come close to what I would consider "quality". That's just me.

You can't compare a CNC machined kit vs a die-cast (Guarder) kit. You will never get the level of detail on a casting like a machined kit nor will you be able to hold the tolerances in a casting that a machined part can. Thus, you get some kits that fit better than others.

Same goes for comparing CNC engraved trademarks (on CNCed kits) vs. stamping or laser etching.

In comes down to personal preference as well as how much you're willing to "invest" into a kit.
I don't use Guarder kits, and above all the quality varies from each individual kit to kit. I prefer PGC above all, followed by Shooters Design. Prime is high quality, but a lot more work to fit properly (though I have heard this is getting much better now). They are often a little bit more expensive (or a lot more) than a PGC.

The choice is yours though, a proper kit (that has been installed correctly) won't function that much better than a Guarder that has been fit correctly. But it will look much better, feel much better, and generally perform a decent amount better.

Response is based on the Guarder P226 and multiple Guarder 1911 bodies I have fit (or fixed).
Try sourcing Nova Body Kits for TMs. They are consistent with their quality and fitting is quite easy. The downside though is that these body kits are quite pricey.
welcome, but you are 1.5 year late.....
I know. :-)
