I'd like you all to keep some things in mind while utilizing the gallery here:
1) Do not create new threads in the base Gallery forum!
*Any new threads created here will be immediately removed, and the thread creator warned. The sub-forums we've opened are to help organize all postings into their appropriate categories, and aid in searching.*
2) Please try to contribute to already existing themed threads.
*If someone starts a thread dedicated to 1911 pistols, for instance, try to put your postings in there, so that people can focus on that thread, and make it a better resource to explore*
3) Please ensure that you PROPERLY SIZE your images before posting them!
*When you post an image that is larger than 900 pixels wide, just consider that not everyone has a top-notch monitor, or is viewing the thread in a downsized browser window, OR is on a slow connection. Monster sized pictures only serve to slow down the display of the thread, and make everyone grumpy. Please also feel free to report abuses of this nature, so we can make this as smooth an experience as possible for everyone*
4) Please ensure that postings made in photo thread actually CONTRIBUTE to the thread.
*A bunch of useless bickering, or continuously asking questions will only serve to take away from the interest in the thread. Keep it relevant!*
5) Please post a WARNING if your photos contain questionable, or explicit content!
*Keep in mind that this hobby, and sport, has many members of a younger age, and please try to remain mature about things. Make sure that adult-oriented postings have warnings in the title, so that people understand what they could be exposed to. Complaints regarding this WILL be dealt with harshly!*
