you might want to gain some muscle first. here is a test for you.. Go run around with a 13lbs water bucket and if you can handle that... you can handle this gun and I'm being serious.

Thanks for the suggestions
"gain some muzzle" ???
Dude. You need learn engrish! LOL
Translation: MUSCLE

Engrish, lol..."Please be inform that we will destroy the trademark!!!"
Anyway, this gun looks hella good for the pricetag. My friend bought an ECHO1 Socom because he couldn't afford an EBR kit and all that...he'll be kicking himself if I show him this.
Part II - Performance assessment
While I was doing the performance assessment, I notice the outer barrel is moving up and down. Then I realized the gun have a lot of loose screws.
Make sure you tighten the screws on the RIS, The screw next to my middle finger is of the screw that will tighten the outer barrel.
Make sure you tighted both sides. Very important.
Tighten the four screw at the rails too... Sliding back and fore create a lot of vibration and it might come loose again.
FPS
Using Airsoft Elite .20g /w a Guarder chronograph the M14 RIS yeild the following result.
305, 306, 307, 308, 304, 300 Average
305
It's below what's Echo1's report at 320 fps. I'm not sure why, the chrono is calibrate correctly as I use my KWA M4 it's still shooting at 380fps right on the dot. So looks like this gun have a weak spring or it's losing compression somewhere inside. I'll have to open op the gearbox later to find out why.
ROF

Range test
Shooting the gun out door and the BBs easily reach 100 feet on a straight trajectory. However, beyound that I can't get the hopup to find a sweet spot. so it's starting to go right or to go up.
Accuracy test
Spiggy and I test this run at 60 feet, we had a very hard time to zero in this gun using the iron sight. We make sure we cleaned the inner barrel first so the test will be more consistance. However, after 8 shorts at the target only 5 landed on the sheet with a grouping of 4 in". Least to say I'm not too happy with the result. It will definately hit a man size target but at 60-100 feet with this heavy gun is a little too close to comfort.
Part III - Internal
I seems to have a bad motor on this gun. Doesn't matter how I tried adjusting the motor height I keep hearing the high pitch winding sound. I'll get it replace when I took the gearbox apart.
more to come...
Part IV - Summary
This gun is clearly not for everybody. It's heavy and need tuning to be able to use it as a DMR. My feeling is really mixed with Echo1 M14 RIS. I personally really like the look of M14 EBR, But Echo1 M14 RIS fall short on my expectation in terms of stock performance. Value for the RIS itself is very good and for people who's with a low budget and don't want to shell out large about of money to buy the G&P EBR kit ($400+) I think it's a good alternative if not the only alternative.
In the end, don't buy this as your first gun. Echo1 have lots of other great choices like the G36c. However, if you got the time with some extra money to for tuning and want something that will give you the "BADASS" look. This is it... and a great work out.
Pros
Full metal
Good Value for the RIS kit itself
Gearbox already have metal spring guide, metal bushing upgraded.
Echo1 package comes with extra Mag and 3PT sling.
30 days warranty
Cons
Iron Sight hard line up with the cheek rest, Recommend using optical assist like a Red Dot or Scope.
Stock performance is mediocre, weak spring, not accurate.
Loose screws need to be tighten and recheck after use.
Very heavy at 12lbs average. Recommend to use a bi-pod.
Need a better battery solution.
*** This is not a final assessment yet, you are welcome to make comments but please don't take this as the final result until I have completed the review ***
The G&P EBR kit won't let you play with the bolt either, the wiring gets in the way. But it does have Deans type connectors, a big plus. Does the stock have a little wiggle room? When fully extended the G&P EBR stock wobbles about 1/4 of an inch. And also what are the pipes on the stock made out of and what is the finish? The G&P pipes are aluminum and have a thin coating (not paint...) thats coming off from sliding in and out.
Man it's heavy, I had to take a break last game from lugging it around. Without a sling its impossible to hold at the ready for more than a minute or two. I love these EBRs, they just look so mean.
I found a weak point in the gun.
(i played in a game yesterday)
Its right in front of the plate that has the rear sling hook. On my gun the little tab that went threw the plate and was attached to the screw on the ris mount is broken.
The whole rear of the gun at and behind that plate is wobbling. (was doing it before that tab broke)
How can i fix this before it gets worst? I used allizard's picture as a reference.
BTW: Cerberus, yes the stock does wiggle when extended. Without the sling I could still hold this thing at ready ,but I couldn't recon threw the scope with propping myself against a tree. The old arm and tree bipod.
