Trying to get rid of some of my WAs, got too many too quick.

It's a 6" SVI magna blow back. Shoots hard and straight. Metal chrome slide has little or not dent/mark, but show signs of usage. It's flawless other then a very minor part of the slide is chipped off toward the hammer end.

According to a friend the hammer is a prog4 hammer.

Asking for 250 OBO.

huh..that short dust cover frame is deceiving..looks like a Sheriff Hardballer slide..which would make it 7" or so...you sure it's 6"?

Any trademarks/engravings on that metal slide?

No engraving on the slide. It's not very reflective slide, unlike the duo tone style slide.

From the front to the end, the whole slide/upper is 8.5 inch or so. Is that 6" or 7" lol.

sh!t...that's a Magna Hardballer slide..probably meant for the old school MGC AMT Hardballer..I mean, it has BoMar which the AMT doesn't have..but shoot...cool man. Nice to see something like that around..it's an oldie

Hey, inside the slide, do you see any stamping or engraving that says "Nitto Engineering"? Nitto=Sheriff

Where should I look for the stamping? I don't think there's any engraving. The slide is definitely one of the best slides I've seen/felt.

ps. the outer barrel is metal as well.

most, if not all, WA 1911s/2011s come stock with metal outer barrels...so unless you bought a steel one, it's stock alluminum or chrome plated brass.

I haven't seen a Sheriff slide in a while so I can't say if there are any engravings on the INSIDE of the slide...I know Sheriff 1911/Para frames have "Nitto Engineering" casted in..

Just worth noting...some of Sheriff's slides used a metalurgy process called "sintering"...this is the process of using metal powders w/ heat and pressure to fuse them into an object...THEN Sheriff CNCs the part to finish it up..these are pretty inferior slides, more than die castings. The Sheriff Beretta slides/frames were made using that process...Your slide..ya never know...

something about your slide tells me it's a Sheriff: 1) no trademarks
2) magna longslide likely for MGC AMT Hardballer, which uses the same Magna R-type blowback system as the WA SVI/hicap series.

The only other company that made a longslide like that is Prime, but that is for SCW guns.

d'oh...my bad...I forgot that the outer barrel is also for the 8.5" slide which means either of two things: 1) custom barrel or 2) stock MGC AMT Hardballer metal barrel

Yeah the outer barrel has this weird font that says -barsto 45 acp-

It has the same feel and texture as the metal slide.

It's quite different from any outer barrel I've seen. I'll snap a shot later.

Price drop to $220 with no mag.
