rather interesting, but no price yet:

Too bad I already got the G&P Knights ones, or else I might try it out
Always in the know aren't ya Skipper. I must say they look very to be of good quality. I like the M&P and the Stag.
NICE! I was waiting for them to join the game
they're going to be the "cheapest" bodies on the market..... this i know.

I love my AEG sr16 body from king arms.... great quality.

my guess is price will be around 175

i wonder if they'll release an hk m4d body.....

now only hurricane needs to join the party...

I'm satisfied w/ my GP noveske, but lets see how these do... if they eliminate the little wobble that the GP receivers have, then they're a winner.
however, i think it's gonna cost more than the G&P one, probably in between or the same price as the Inokatsu ones

very sure it will be cheaper than damn Prime ones

i got the G&P new and improved metal body, and i must say, for under $200, very nice
MUR!!

Now what are these made to be dimension wise? G&P/WA? Prime/Ino/RS? What about barrel nut thread and such?
hm, idk jerry, for now, i'll disagree... the KA aeg m4 bodies are the best bargain on the market....
the most affordable "high end" body and it implements a new(ish) bolt stop feature that is not really available with even the higher end ones....

KA makes some very affordable stuff, and they usually get the quality/price balance just right.... imo

i cant see it being as much as inokatsu ones unless they truly are superior to the G&P bodies, then i'd say they could charge 350 and put prime out....

RM, time will tell man.... watch it be some "new" dimension... lol just to toss yet another wrench in this hardly well oiled machine that is WA M4... lol
I am also wondering about the marking on these....on my WOC the marking are deep engraved, where as on my KA AEG M4 it is laser etched or something like that...thats probably my lease favorite part on the KA....
hm, depends.... my GP WOC noveske body is laser engraved. but the GP xm177 i had years ago was deeply engraved...

the KA sr16 body i have now is laser engraved....
I think GP laser engraves all of their "custom" bodies, like the noveske, or the defender, or others like that...
and they engrave like colt bodies and such.
G&P "Colt", "FN", and other metal bodies with trademarks that look deeply "engraved", have actually been cast like that. The engravings are part of the receiver mould, when they are created. Don't forget, all the serial numbers on those bodies are the same within that variation. I've owned SO many of these now.

The majority of real steel manufacturers these days laser-engrave their products. So, G&P, or King Arms and the like, are actually continuing their replication of accuracy by doing the same. Not a lot of bodies are still stamped, due to the sheer cost of maintaining these stamps, and the stamping process itself. If you look at a real Colt AR-15 today, a lot of times, the trademarks are so shallow, details will be simply missing. One of the most realistic sets of Colt trademarks I've seen, was on the Prime CNC receiver I had on my PTW. It had been machine engraved, but not very deeply. So, the overall effect was very similar to how real steel Colt receiver trademarks appear now.

I could actually go through a good portion on all the bodies available, and point out the discrepancies between the way the replicas are done, and the real steel equivalents, but suffice it to say that if you want to be as close as possible in every aspect of your replica build, spend the time to find out how the real steel manufacturer does these things. Then you can decide if that replica product will best fit your desired end goal.

Over the years, I do as much as I possibly can to replicate the real steel firearm, but I don't let it become an unobtainable obsession that would prevent me from completing the replica I can enjoy, at a budget I can afford. Stick with what you like, and what you can budget for. The rest just turns into a pissing contest. Tongue02
