finally got my WA m4... got a great deal on it... and i picked up a trijicon ta31rco w/ red chevron... which is what really sold me.
I made a thread on GGI, but to be honest, I like traders much better, i've always gotten help for anything i've needed it for... so here goes, hope you guys can help me out...
first, heres a list of whats in it... bought it from Raven.
EXTERNAL:
G&P Noveske N4 Metal Receiver
UTG Rail System
G&P Aluminum Carbine Length Outer Barrel
G&P Full Metal M16 Style Flash Hider
King Arms G27 Pistol Grip, Black
G&P M16 Style Metal Flash Hider
WA Tactical Latch Charging Handle
INTERNAL:
Stock Trigger Group from WA CQB Delta
RA Tech Hop Up
RA Tech Hop Up Rubber
RA Tech Bolt Catch
RA Tech Aluminum Loading Nozzle
RA Tech Aluminum Negative Pressure Adjustment System
Prime Black Bolt Carrier
RS Tapco Commercial Buffer Tube
RS Tapco Buffer Spring & Buffer
issues/concerns.
wont lock back after last shot
wont shoot every round... cycling is goofy a bit..
also i noticed once, when the bolt slammed forward, it cracked the bb, like demolished it, i noticed it before firing, and pulled it out of the hop up.... is this an issue?
any thoughts?
i'd really like this skirmish ready for sunday.
also forgot to mention im using GHK mags.
**well, the gun is cycling now.... its not feeding every round though, infact now its doing like 2 then none at all...
but its still cycling. this leads me to believe its not cycling the bolt far enough, which is also likely the problem for it not locking back on the last shot. Im pretty sure the bolt/catch assembly is fine, because it doesnt lock back when the mag is loaded when i pull it back, but it will lock back when the mag is empty and i pull it back....
however when i release the bolt and fire it wont lock back.... i believe its not goin back enough...
the only thing i can come up with is the RS buffer spring is too strong......
everything else seems to be working as it should...
if this were the case, would it also be the reason for the nozzle not loading the next round?
the bolt is cycling, like i said, but not all the way i dont think...
please help, need this up and running by sunday.
also, i noticed that when the bolt is cycling, it almost looks like the nozzle isnt moving... if thats the case then it explains why its not "chambering" the next round... but it could just be moving too fast for me to see it....
