Post your ideas how we can verified a user move them into second tier status.
Here is mine...
1. Require paypal verified address.
2. Contact phone number and may need to voice verified.
3. If users have good record on Arnies and ASF will get priority approval.
I understand some people may not like to use Paypal. So what's your thought on those?!
I like your paypal ideas.
For the money order. Confirm there address? Maybe?
Ask for there address, Send them a letter with 5-10 #'s on it, And to get accepted to your address you will have to enter those numbers.
A simple idea that has not much thought into it. But could work.
One of my own thoughts is to build an application form, and require it to be mailed in to us/me. This will give a physical record, as well as help to verify a physical address. However, maybe mailing the form TO them to begin with, and requiring it to be mailed back would be even better. This would establish a route both ways. If done using Priority Mail/Global Express, it wouldn't take terribly long to complete the process.
I also believe that every verification should involve a phone call to personally talk to the member, and use that opportunity to ensure they understand what is expected of them as Verified Traders. Again, this has to be agreed upon by members, and we can't make it super-tough to achieve.
right... but worth whle to make the effort as well. We need a draft on the verification process.

Well, i havnt tried in a while, but im really secure about my financial's, and i dont feel like giving allot of info to the website, like bank, etc. It works fine, im just not willing to try it. It works fine, it's just me//

I've personally been using PayPal for several years, all without any incident whatsoever. You'll probably find that's the case with the majority of people who do. My best suggestion for getting a verified account, to provide you with the most flexibility, is to open another account at your bank, that's solely dedicated to PayPal only. That way, it keeps all transactions separate from your 'regular' bank account, and gives you that extra measure of protection you want. I've done it that way myself, and like I said, I haven't had a single issue. Hell, if you're REALLY paranoid, open an account in a totally different bank.

I'm also on Paypal for many years. In fact my paypal rating surpassed by eBay rating. Last time I checked I have over 140+. I never have any problem with them. There is one time paypal withhold $27 from me because one of the buyer is suspected to use stolen account. I ended up still keeping the $27 because the buyer address is verified which qualify with seller protection plan.
Personally, I think people who have problem with Paypal is they didn't follow procedure and just being careless. And I trust someone who's using Paypal with a verified account and address then someone who just want to send me a MO.
I have only had one problem with paypal and it was not their issue or problem it was ebay's security with a paypal credit card. I got the issue resolved with paypal but never with the paypal credit card company or ebay. I don't use credit cards much anymore anyway and I ebay I believe fixed their problem but I find dealing with person much more effective. I think that having both a paypal acount or a phone number with a varified awnser is a great way.
