I like that man - different Grin02 your grip work looks good man.
I really dig the wavey look of that stippling Dingo. It goes great with that slide as well.Very original looking!

Is that THE STI Executive (TungerGuy, Junior, and Vicious's)?

If so I'm pleased to see that it is still around on the forums. One of my favorite guns of all time (PM me if you ever want to get rid of it).
God I love long dust cover STI's. Hows it shoot? After looking at pics of that gun again, I need to get a fiber optic sight for my Executive.
Krame - You need to get front and rear fiber optic sights. Red front, green rear.
It's about time you took pictures of it Colin!
Yes, this is the STI.

When Vicious started talking about breaking the gun into parts to sell it, I just COULDN'T let that happen. So I bought it. I plan on keeping this in my collection for quite some time. Tongue02

There are some guns I feel have some pretty interesting histories, and it would have been a shame to see this one end. The gun shoots great, with awesome kick, but I haven't really done any real accuracy testing thus far. My only real personal gripe with it, is the Shooter's Design grip has a tendency to be pushed down in the rear, in the grip safety area, due to the high hammer spring tension. So, every once in a while, you have to loosen the grip, push it back up slightly, and re-tighten. You don't want to get overzealous on those screws either, as I'm sure I would cry if the threads stripped! However, now that I've heard that a REAL STI grip can be fitted to this, you can be assured one will be making it's way onto the gun soon.

I'll also mention that this is the heaviest pistol I've owned to date. The amount of metal in it is really impressive. From the steel outer barrel and chamber, to the hammer, I really enjoy just seeing what's possible on these guns. Hopefully, this will be the gun I will employ to shoot postal matches. Grin02

I took some quick shots of it early yesterday morning on a whim, I'm glad you liked them. I plan on doing a better photo shoot again once I get a proper lighting tent made up. The gun was laying on blue shop towels, and I was shooting outside...in the snow! The wind came up and blew the towels as I took the shot, and I thought the effect looked interesting.

-TM 5.1 Hi-Capa
-TM 4.3 frame
-Prime Springfield slide
-Guarder loading nozzle (simply because the original broke...)
-PGC piston head, individually fitted to the nozzle
-Nine Ball 6.03 barrel
-Falcon V-hop chamber
-Shooters Design Hot Shot magwell
-Airsoft Surgeon hammer + sear set, filed to "short 'n crispy"
-Guarder recoil spring
-Guarder hammer spring (coils cut to lighten slightly)

-Custom made spring buffer / short stroke spacer
-Hi-cut trigger guard
-"Organic" stippling
-Reverse-rounded dust cover
-Frame rails hammered to fit the slide tightly, then resized for smooth cycling
-Outer barrel fitted with custom O-ring
-Overtravel stop mod
-Rear sight notch enlarged to 4 mm (I got long hands...)

Wow... Now that it's all listed, I'm surprised at how much work and parts I've put into this old lady.

(I did a better job building this gun than the lousy photoshopping)
I like the cut job on the frame. That's some unique stippling as well. Nice build.
