Bronco, I think you should leave them black.. if you want silver I'd suggest you buy some 9ball controls or some used TM DS controls (if you could ever find em). It's hard to keep the polished pieces clean from tarnish when you handle the gun a lot.

Awesome. I love the kimber style trigger.
How does that trigger pull feel? Did you have to sand/mod the sear?

It's a Caspian frame, that's why! It's a MGC Springfield 9mm HighCapacity. Sits w/ my MGC Springfield Govt Combat Custom Ltd. Ed. in the case on my bookshelf. It managed to sneak into the shot somehow.

Well, new pictures of the newtome pistol....think I'm going to try using it in the standard class for the postal matches.

I undercut the trigger guard, added the mag release button, and did the grip modification this morning.
