Full Version: Colt Constrictor Speed loader?

Hi all-

I've been around guns all my life, and within the last year, have gotten into arisoft. I have a few spring pistols, and really enjoy airsofting, its nice to be able to shoot around (I mainly target shoot) without the hight ammo costs.

But here's my question: I recently spent a few $$'s on a Marushin Colt Constrictor Maxi (revolver). I'm looking to get a HKS speed loader for it, but I don't knwo what size to get. Does anyone out there happen to have a Colt Constrictor, and a speed loader for it to give me a size number, or perhaps someone knows what size would work for it? There's no real gun shop in my area, and I'd prefer to not have to drive around with the gun and try out speedloaders to figure out what works.

Thanks much!

I did a little digging around, and it seems that the Colt Constrictor uses the same cylinder as the Colt Python, and the Colt Unlimited, both produced by Marushin in their 'Maxi' 8mm line.

Does this help anyone?

Thanks in advance,
I'd be able to help if I knew exactly what the spacing was on the Marushin cylinders. While they may look like the Python, I don't know for sure if the timing and diameters on the cylinder are the same. I can give you the HKS part number for the Python, which is #PYA.

It should work, if Marushin kept stuff to spec. Not saying they did, but you can hope.
I know that hkssr20det has an HKS speed loader for (I believe) his Colt Constrictor.

I am having this same sort of issue trying to find out whether there are any speed loaders that I could use with my Tanaka M500 (cassi). Sadly, it doesn't look like there are really even any RS options.
