Installed a few, it's good stuff. The piston head is similar to PDI, which I like.
I just got one, waiting to be installed on my 2nd Hi-Capa when it gets back from Gunner...decided to try it to compare with the 2 SDs I have...
Let us know what you think. It would be nice to have an idea of which one to get.
The one nice thing about the AS is that it is black so it won't be seen quite as much.
yes that was part of the reason for the switch, and I am also interested to see if the fit is tighter than the SD ones to a AS BBU/Piston. So far in my Hi-Capa I am still using the SD piston O-ring with the SD nozzle on the AS BBU/Piston unit. The AS nozzle comes with its own piston and O-ring, but I probably would only use the nozzle itself and perhaps the O-ring.
some update.....
I tried the AS nozzle on my new Hi-Capa....and within 20 shots the portion that actuates the return spring broke off....
its back to SD nozzle set I go.....
That's not good. I guess that I will hang on to my SD sets then. Thanks for the info.
I figure as the new guy, I'll try to chime in and be helpful with my experience :-)
I too have had a less than stellar experience with the Airsoft Surgeon Nozzle. Mine snapped off the loading stud after about 120 rounds. I was running Green Gas, 68 degrees, about 310fps. The piston head seems to be fine, and compression and function was fine until that time, but durability seems to be very weak.

sounds like I am not the only one then....this just cement in my mind that SD is more of a proven product...I tried AS since I've tried just about all the other stuff they make for Hi-Capa, I figure I might as well try the nozzle....
